A WATER PURIFIER IN A LILY GARDEN

Despite the wall’s absence, I

Continue

I still require it, and I still require

You.

We shall stand in a field with the

Blessing of the sky

At some point, I am sure of it.

I need you without knowing why,

I dance with all the freedom of

Unadulterated delight.

But even now, I’m still worried

That you won’t understand

How much I need you and that I

Might lose you.

You fill me with bliss

My cup you fill to the brim and it

Pours

You are the blossom, and I am

The Eden.

My drinking water, your braids

Purify

The flowers dive and they sing

Your beauty and presence

Oh! Fountain of love and life.

REFLECTIONS

If only love was true

And I would hold and cherish you

And in your hand hold mine while

In green fields I adore your smile

If only I could decorate your hair

With flowers and watch it billow in the air

If I could baptize you with affection

I’d treat you with such compassion

If you would go with me to pluck flowers

We could make the world ours

We could be two free birds in Eden

And the world with its flows forever hidden

I would always call you my wife; my life

If only you were ever alive.

MY CREATOR OF LOVE

I wish I was the creator,

Or given opportunity,

To mold my own love.

She could be the best,

A real queen I say

With all the perfection.

Leave alone Bettina,

Don’t even mention Angel,

Have you seen Anita Fabiola?

Her shape would be perfect,

Number one love,

With a smile of Faridah

Nakazibwe.

She would be calm,

Always talking less,

But dramatic like Lillian Mbabazi.

She would be my real nurse,

With a God calling heaven of

Peace,

And chanting bliss.

I would have had the best,

My one and only love,

And my favorite friend.
